The Miki Pulley Group traces its roots back to its founding in 1939, when the founders developed and launched the variable belt drive. The product range has adapted to industrial conditions and requirements over the past decades and today Miki Pulley is a solution provider in almost all fields of mechanical power transmission and power control. Thanks to its production efficiency and product quality, the company has become a market leader in Asia and is now successfully expanding into European markets. In January 2014, Miki Pulley Europe AG was established in order to centralise operations in Europe and to achieve better cooperation with Asian production. This expanded the company's geographical presence, which had previously been in India, Korea and Taiwan. By localising production of components in many countries, Miki Pulley is able to become closer to the customer and satisfy local market needs and individual customer requirements much more quickly.
Miki Pulley is the originator of the belt-type continuously variable speed drive, which was developed by the company's specialists in 1954. Since then, not only has this product been continually improved, but solutions such as Zero-Max one-way clutch discs, general purpose belt drives, DC motors, servomotors and inverters have been developed and produced. In positioning control, the company offers a wide range of products, from electromagnetic clutches and brakes suitable for fairly coarse positioning control, to direct drive motors and servomotors used for high precision positioning control. The company's servomotors offer ultra-high precision, high reliability and high speed positioning. As far as torque devices are concerned, Miki Pulley offers a wide range of couplings and overload protection devices.
